Introduction

A new scheme has been announced to provide cashless treatment to State Government employees and their family members. In this regard, it has been decided to implement an ambitious scheme called the "Karnataka Arogya Sanjeevini Scheme", which involves monthly contributions from state government employees. The scheme will be implemented through the Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust, which comes under the purview of the Department of Health and Family Welfare.

 

About the Scheme

Karnataka Arogya Sanjeevini Yojana (KASS) provides cashless healthcare facilities to Karnataka Government employees and their dependent family members in an empanelled healthcare institutions. (public, aided, public autonomous and private). 

The Government employee can register their dependant family members through the mobile app or by submitting a hard copy of the application to their DDO's. 

 

The Health care institutions can enroll in the scheme by submitting an online application form in the protal.

Phase I provides inpatient, emergency, ambulance services, eye and dental services. 

The treatments (includes but not limited to) the following:

  • Chemotherapy
  • Hemodialysis
  • Minor medical procedures
  • Biopsy
  • Minor surgeries like D&C, tonsillectomy, spinal injection, AV shunting, etc.
  • Cataract surgery
